Event Details:

• Shin Ryu Bujinkan Dojo

Training Focus:

• Budo training in Japan from the Summer 2024 trip (and maybe a bit of the Oregon Taikai) will be the focus of study for the day.

Cost:

• $25 for the day

What to bring:

• Training weapons: bokken (daito/kodachi/tanto), hanbo, shinai. Some training tools will be available at Shin Ryu Bujinkan if you don’t have your own weapons.

• Recommended COVID vaccines are required to attend (check with your teacher for details or exceptions). Masking is not currently required for most attendees (unless you might be getting sick), but you are welcome to wear one.

• Food and water for breaks - we’ll be taking a 1.5 hour break for lunch, but the dojo is about 20 minutes from in-town food locations. We plan to have some sandwich and soup offerings available for participants over lunch if they wish (please let us know about any allergies).
  
  Please note: We have a student with anaphylactic contact allergies to pork products, so please do not bring pork/bacon/ham products to the dojo itself, and please wash your hands and face with soap before resuming training if you’ve had pork products over lunch.
