Kunoichi

Kunoichi classes in the Shin Ryu Bujinkan Dojo continue Japan's tradition of training women in martial arts and strategy.

These classes take a similar approach as the regular, mixed-gender classes in our dojo. They are taught by Instructor Becky Wilson.

Throughout the ages and in many cultures around the world, women have been heralded for our determination to protect our homes and those we love. In Japan, women were involved in martial and strategic traditions.

Our weekly kunoichi class is an opportunity to study a koryu art taught in the Bujinkan tradition with other women, taught by a woman. These classes encourage us to use our natural strengths, rather than imitating men's natural strengths, whether in the dojo or in the rest of our lives.

Our kunoichi classes help women develop their own skills, strength, and warrior heart.
